After the success of the World half marathon through Birmingham, Bournville is set again to welcome 15,000 runners through the streets and roads of our city. The route for the runners has changed slightly so there will be less inconvenience for local residents but you will get the chance to cheer on the runners earlier than last year. There will be some BHM Road Closure Stages in Maryvale road, Bournville Lane and Linden road but it is anticipated that the roads will begin to reopen from 11. Bus diversions will be in place and details can be found on the marathon website.
