I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2011!
On the first two photo you can cast a glance on Bad Mergentheim's market place with the Christmas market, seen from the second floor of the old town hall.
In the background you can see the twin houses in front of the minster Sankt Johannes / Saint John with its steeple, nowadays the Roman Catholic parish church.
Winter scene in the 'Sommerhaus' / summer house garden - an enchanting little furnishing house with wonderful and noble bric-à-brac in my hometown.
The Christmas glitter ball tree I found in one of our local department stores...
...the real Christmas tree I captured at the historic Hotel Eisenhut at mediaeval Rothenburg, not far away from Bad Mergentheim.
In the entrance hall of Hotel Eisenhut you presntly can find this wonderful horse-drawn sleight full of Christmas gifts.
