'Connecting', acrylic/canvas, 36'x48'
Thank you everyone for your suggestions...now I've been able to gather some more titles for future projects. This title actually came from the body of an email, where a creative woman I haven't had the pleasure of meeting face to face yet but hope to someday, spoke of connecting with a friend over tea. That feeling resonated with me. Though we've experienced nothing but rain and grey skies for so long, I wanted to create a piece that felt like spring...like renewal. I wanted to utilize a fresh palette that was cooler than the last piece titled 'Savor' which will hang nearby in Peppercorns Restaurant. Tomorrow I'm off to Cochrane, nearer to the Rockies, to paint at Saffron Gallery for Alberta Arts Days. There have been forecasts for snow, keep your fingers crossed for better weather, please?
