In the foreground is the 48'x60' canvas I'll be working on next - it's getting it's coat of tinted gesso. Once I've completed the current piece I've been working on, the 36'x48' canvas in the background, I'll begin on my new canoe project. I've been sketching and planning for a couple of weeks and am really excited to begin. It will be another slow one, like the last canoe, since the form is different for me and the feeling of water was a challenge for me to replicate. This one's for my dining room and I'm hoping not to sell it quite so quickly this time.
